WHY FÄRKEN?
Because a bag isn’t chosen by chance, it’s chosen with intention. And our name had to live up to that same standard.
After countless ideas, Färken appeared. Unpronounceable to some, unforgettable to others.
Färken means beginning without having everything figured out, but doing it with conviction. It means creating from the heart, without a manual. It means proving that what’s different can also be useful, beautiful, and full of character.
After years moving between university and the corporate world, Aydjan Fahredin, the founder, decided to take a turn and dedicate herself to what had always inspired her: fashion. She always dreamed of creating something that would combine design, purpose, and everyday usefulness.
The idea came from a simple need, to find the perfect work bag: elegant, functional, and timeless. When she couldn’t find it, she decided to create it herself. Courses in handbag design and styling became the bridge between inspiration and reality. That’s how Färken was born: a brand that reflects dreams, style, and determination.
